What is the warranty period for my particular product?
If you purchased your product less than 90 days ago, please fax or email your proof of purchase to Customer Care. Once confirmed Customer Care will contact you
within four business hours . Please be advised that depending on the time you submit your proof of purchase,
it may be the following business day.

Out of Warranty Service & Support
If you purchased your product more than 90 days ago, Rio now provides Extended Support for $19.95 per issue. Please click on the link below to purchase Extended Support and receive your Priority Code along with the Extended Support Phone Number. If your product is determined defective you will receive a coupon code for a discount on a featured product.
If your product is damaged or broken and you would like to purchase another, you may do so by clicking the link below to purchase a factory refurbished player from Rio 's authorized repair center.
What is the warranty period for my particular product?

How does my Rio product warranty work?
Your product comes with a hardware warranty. Proof of purchase is required before any warranty consideration by Rio occurs. Digital Networks North America, Inc. (Rio) warrants your product against defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase from Rio or an authorized Rio agent. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty does not cover any incompatibilities due to the user's computer, hardware, software or any other related system configuration to which the product interfaces. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by negligence, non-authorized modifications, or parts installed without prior written permission from Rio. This warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or misapplication, nor as a result of service to the product by anyone other than by Rio.
RIO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS PRODUCT. THIS INCLUDES DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY REFUNDS AND WILL NOT BE HONORED SHOULD YOUR PRODUCT BE OUT OF OUR WARRANTY TIME FRAME.
