ReplayTV Limited Warranty
ReplayTV ("ReplayTV") warrants your new ReplayTV DVR and any
included ReplayTV accessories against defects in material or workmanship
as follows:
- For a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase,
if the ReplayTV DVR is determined to be defective, ReplayTV will
repair or
replace the unit, at its option, at no charge.
- Also, between ninety (90) days and (1) year from the date
of purchase, if the ReplayTV DVR is determined to be defective,
ReplayTV will
repair or replace the unit for a fixed cost processing fee to
the customer.

If you experience problems with your unit and need assistance please contact
a ReplayTV Customer Support agent by calling (254) 299-2705. During your call,
the agent will determine whether your issue can be resolved over the phone,
or if you unit needs repair.
ReplayTV offers a repair program for ReplayTV DVR series 2000, 3000, 4000, 4500,
5000 or 5500, whether it is in or out of warranty. Customers with other
models can be directed to other repair options by calling ReplayTV
Customer Support.
If your unit needs to be repaired and is under warranty , you will be
asked to send your "proof of purchase" to Customer Support and
a Return Material Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions will be
sent to you. This will assist you in shipping your defective unit to ReplayTV.
Once ReplayTV has received your defective unit, it will be repaired and
sent back to you within one week . If the defective unit is deemed un-repairable,
a factory-refurbished replacement will be sent instead. You must have your
receipt from your ReplayTV purchase available to receive the RMA, and an
RMA is required before you ship your unit. ReplayTV is not able to maintain
the content contained on the ReplayTV product you return for repairs.
Repairs that are within the warranty period will be repaired and sent
back to you at no charge.
Units that are between ninety (90) days, and one (1) year from the date
of purchase will be repaired for a fixed cost of $49.95.
ReplayTV offers out of warranty repair for 2000, 3000, 4000, 4500, 5000, or 5500
models for a fixed cost. For other
models or questions, please contact ReplayTV Customer Support at
(254) 299-2705 . All shipping costs to ReplayTV are the responsibility
of the customer.
Please Note: The ReplayTV repair procedure involves formatting and re-imaging
processes that do not allow for the preservation of media on the hard drive. Because
of this we are unable to transfer original content from or back to the
ReplayTV model undergoing the repair process. We apologize for the
inconvenience; however, we have found this method of repair yields the
best possible performance. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
