ReplayTV Multi-Unit Discount FAQ
Are you ready to Service Activate your ReplayTV DVR?  ReplayTV Multi-Unit Discount
Multi-Unit Discount is a new ReplayTV service policy that discounts
the monthly ReplayTV service fee from $12.95/$9.95
to $6.95 for those with more than
one
eligible ReplayTV unit on the same account.
If I have two monthly units, one at $12.95 and the other
at $9.95, which unit gets the discount?
The higher priced monthly unit will be discounted. So, your
account would now reflect a charge for $9.95 and $6.95."
What does it mean to be "eligible" for the Multi-Unit Discount?
In order to be eligible for the discounted monthly service,
all ReplayTV subscriptions must be registered to the same account
at www.replaytv.com and
must be dialing in/connecting from the same service address.
You must also have one box paying the regular monthly fee,
annual or
paid in
full with
product lifetime
service.
Does the Multi-Unit Discount apply to ReplayTV product lifetime service ($299
subscription)?
No. The pricing discount only applies to monthly ReplayTV service fees.
However, you qualify for the Multi-Unit Discount on any monthly subscriptions,
up to 5 units, if you have a lifetime activated ReplayTV on your account.
If it's not already on your monthly account, you can easily add it when
you log into your monthly account.
Currently I have more than one monthly unit on my account. Do I need to do anything to get the Multi-Unit Discount?
No, there's nothing you need to do. If you have the monthly billing option,
we will automatically change your next billing statement to reflect the new
pricing of $6.95 per month.
How many ReplayTV boxes on my account qualify for this Multi-Unit Discount?
A maximum of 5 ReplayTV boxes on a single account may utilize the discounted
monthly ReplayTV service fee of $6.95.
I have an account with two ReplayTVs, but my account didn't automatically receive
the discount.
Both units on the account must be actively using the ReplayTV service to qualify.
Please contact customer care via phone and provide the following information:
1. Serial Number of each ReplayTV.
2. Email address on the account.
How do I know if I'm a registered account holder?
1. If you have a monthly service account for any ReplayTV, then you have
a registered account.
2. If you signed up for Lifetime at www.replaytv.com,
on Feb 10, 2003 or later, you have a registered account.
3. You will get a registered account if you sign up for Lifetime or Monthly
service for any ReplayTV.
4. Please visit My
account and login with your email address and password. If you have more than one
email address, try each one.
I have a ReplayTV 2000, 3000, or Panasonic Unit. Can I get the multi-unit
discount?
Yes. Just contact customer care via email or phone, and ask that they add
your older unit to your monthly account. You'll then get the discount. Your
older unit must be actively connecting from the same address as your monthly
unit. You must have two units on the account to maintain a discount on 1
unit.
How do I find the 21 - digit Service Key
I need to my lifetime unit to my account?
For all 4000 series and later ReplayTV units:
1. Press Menu on the remote.
2. Choose Setup.
3. Scroll down to System Information.
For 2000, 3000, and Panasonic Units or if you don't have a System Information
option:
1. Press Menu on the remote.
2. Choose Setup.
3. Scroll down to Registration (if available) or MyReplayTV Registration.
That's the key you'll need.
NOTE: For Panasonic units, all serial numbers begin "PV-HS". The "-" is
part of the serial number.
My account didn't get the discount,
even though I qualify. How do I get the disounted pricing?
If you have more than one ReplayTV account, please contact Customer Care via phone with
the following information:
a. Serial Number of each ReplayTV.
b. Email Address for each account.
