Activate a DVR

 
 
Follow these steps to activate your ReplayTV.  Service Activation FAQ 
  1. Go to the ReplayTV Main Menu by pressing the Menu button on the remote control.
  2. Select Setup.
  3. Select "Service Activation."

    4. (Note: if you do not see the "Service Activation" item in the Setup menu, you are already activated.)
  4. The "Service Activation" screen displays your Service Key, which includes your Model number, Serial number, and three-digit activation key.
    For example: RTV5 040G 1SA2 0050 42 G5K
  5. Write down this information and enter it below.
If you have questions or if you prefer to speak to a ReplayTV representative to activate your ReplayTV 4500 or later, please contact Customer Support.

Note: If you are a ReplayTV 1000, 2000, 3000 or 4000 user, Service Activation does not apply to you. Your ReplayTV is already service activated when you purchased your unit.
