Rio Hires New VP of Product Marketing and wins 2004 World Class Award from PC World
SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 12, 2004 - Rio is pleased to announced its appointment of Daniel Torres to the position of Vice President of Product Marketing. Mr. Torres comes to Rio with more than 20 years of experience in high-tech with an extensive background in strategy, management, business development and product marketing. Of his 20 plus years of experience, 15 years were specifically dedicated to product marketing where he successfully delivered a variety of products ranging from enterprise servers to consumer electronic devices such as digital cameras. Most recently Mr. Torres was the Director of Business Development and Product Planning and Strategy for palmOne. Torres has also worked with top consumer electronic and communication companies including AT&T, FlashPoint Technology and Apple Computer.
